A simple *kuripe* is an ancestral self-application tool used to blow *rapé* (a fine powder made from sacred tobacco and the ashes of medicinal plants and trees) directly into one's own nostrils. Unlike traditional blowpipes (known as *tepís*), which require another person to perform the blowing, the *kuripe* features a V- or L-shape, allowing for self-administration by connecting the mouth to the nose.
